Its spring and time to start some gardening at Scoil Mhuire. As you can see from the photographs below we have alot of work to do.
We sought some help, Miss Dunne & Miss Hickson even gave a hand, but in the end the professionals were needed
We are now ready to begin and already some classes have started working!
OUR JUNIOR INFANTS HAD GREAT FUN IN THE GARDEN!
The MENS SHED from Allenwood made and donated 2 benches to our school for our ongoing School Garden Project.
Richard from GROW YOUR OWN IRELAND visited our school last week. He spoke about Bio Diversity with 4th class and advised us what vegetables to grow in our garden. Richard donated 2 apple trees and we were delighted with all the tips and ideas he gave us.
